A smartSCANNDY that has been connected to a computer can be seen and managed worldwide just as if it were an internal Ethernet connection interface. The data collected from a smartCANNDY can be recalled and accessed anywhere worldwide, and all without any additional software installations, just as ready as any web-database.

The online scanner
If the smartSCANNDY is equipped with Bluetooth, the scanned barcode or RFID data then can be simultaneously transmitted. The communication can then be carried out in both directions, and so it is also possible that the scanning procedure be operated through an attached computer, as in using the user-software on the computer side to control. The requirements, a scanning activity/procedure from the applications software to allow and to prevent the increase of the dependability of the collected (altogether) usages/applications
The scanner for ready for any situation: mobile or fixed
At any time you wish, the RFID and barcode scanner smartSCANNDY fulfills its assignment as a fixed or mobile scanner, and the switching between of the modes occurs through the simple scanning of certain barcode-switch codes.
The presentation scanner
When the smartSCANNDY is set to Presentation Mode, it will stand at attention so-to-speak. In this mode, the smartSCANNDY will not scan at its usual 100 scans per second rate, but rather only at intervals so that it may recognize one barcode at a time. When the barcode is brought into the barcode scanner's reading range, the smartSCANNDY automatically switches into a high-performance mode which allows it to recognize quickly and accurate each barcode presented. Afterwards, the smartCSANNDY jumps back into its resource-conserving Presentation Mode in order to save energy and promote a longer lifespan for its laser module.
The Small Code Pointer for scanning of miniature barcodes
With the “Small Code Pointer” attachment, the scanning of 2-D miniature barcodes would be child's play for you. For barcodes that are in catalogs or in general, barcodes that are situated tightly next to each other, the smartSCANNDY equipped with its Small Code Pointer attachment will accurate fixate itself and scan those mini-barcodes. This sort of stability and accuracy could only be obtained through the PANMOBIL SCOUT function, a function that makes every ordering a breeze on the user's computer all through the simple attachment of the scanner's SCP. This process requires no further software installation, meaning that anyone can complete their orders without anyone else's help.
The wired scanner
Of course our smartSCANNDY can also be a “completely normal” USB scanner and render its services to you online and wired.
Optionally, you may also choose to connect your smartSCANNDY over RS232 or the keypad.
Data input and output
1-D and 2-D barcode-only scanner
The classic compact barcode genie reads all 1-D and 2-D barcodes, depending on whether a laser engine or a CMOS camera is to be employed. The data can simply stay saved or over Bluetooth be directly transmitted.
RFI- only scanner HF or LF
This compact mobile reader and writer for LF and HF transponders can save the collected data locally or per radio communication, Bluetooth, or the Internet be tuned.
