Once again Würth extended its leads while using a new free of charge scanner – generation and underscored the technical lead of Würth.

Because it is manufacted by the well known scanner – professionals PANMOBIL as they have delivered 50,000 ORSYscan I terminals in the last years?

Or is it just the fact that the scanner will be delivered free of charge as it has been before to all customers of Würth?

This is nothing special if you are looking for reliability on the one hand and for higher customer loyalty on the other hand for the clear target of higher turnover.

The true reason for this higher engagement is the successful elimination of the last barrier of all PC – and scanner user:

The establishment of a worldwide unique “Scan and Go” – solution without ifs and buts. 

By experience with more than 50.000 PANMOBIL scanner of the first generation which have been delivered with a free of charge middleware, problems have been resulted by software – installation and incompatibility with other already installed customer solutions as well as driver conflicts.  For normal user often an insuperable barrier as well as it was often a complex challenge for Würth hotline, much less for the sales person who has to bring the customer a scanner for free of charge but became a trouble – shooter. In the end the scanner often never saw the light outside a sales persons cargo bay.

The customer scans the article either from the barcode of the empty box of the  product or he from stockyard or from an individual order – list created by Würth for this special customer (most ordered products).

Prospektive scanning out of a catalouge will be possible like it is already for most of PANMOBIL customers. 

While the scan progress has been finished, - mistaken scannings can be removed – ORSYscan II will be plugged into a provided table cradle which has been almost connected via USB – port with customers - pc. The computer needs to have only one request – the pc needs tob e internet capable. It doesn’t matter which system runs on your PC (Windows XP/VISTA/7) the connected scanner will provide all necessary connections to the Würth internet-shop.  The customer just needs to identify himself via password.

Within a few seconds the transferred order will be listed in the Webshop and the customer only needs to verify or change his order.
