There are quite a lot of RFID – Road shows. Most of them are expensive and self-interested.
Unlike this the Transponder Road which is now 6 years old and takes place in various places around Austria, Germany and Switzerland is financed by the organizer of the event.
It is established in order to give potential users an understanding of RFID without disturbing advertisement and vending shows. The organizers are leading companies of the RFID industrie, for example Infinion, IBM, Feig, Siemens, Philips, Texas Instruments...
The discussed topics are technic, applications and gathered experiences in all sections of the supply chain. Open questions are answered in seminars, which are divided into different user groups.
The Roadshow is a one-day-meeting, taking place this year in Cologne, Hamburg, Stuttgart and Wien.
