PANMOBIL has succeeded in combining and condensing technical features like barcode reader, RFID reader, Bluetooth, USB and many more on optimized space. The new smartSCANNDY is compact, genial and easy to use. Especially in order optimizing smartSCANNDY suits excellently.
SCANNDY, made by PANMOBIL, combines the abilities of a real handy unit (mobile phone style) and a scanner (RFID and/or Barcode), to make a unit that is an affordable “worldwide data collector”.
At present all products are around barcode and RFID. Our handheld scanner-multitalents do code and decode any AutoID technology without any compromises. The SCANNDYbasic and SCANNDYgun handheld series are designed for a maximum on flexibility to enable the user being ready for any kind of logistic request without exchanging the reader itself.
Barcode: The reader technology can be selected pending on the performance and cost required. For reading 1D a HighTec Lasermodule is used, which thanks to its flexibility in combination with the excellent PANMOBIL reading algorithm even recognizes bad printed barcode and enables even untrained user to read easily. Reading 2D and 1D at same time a camera module is in use. Using a real camera enables solutions, which needs to take real pictures. The strong PANMOBIL software system in combination with an aggressive CPU allows industrial picture-control applications for asset control or manufacturing control. A picture can say more then thousand words. Beside this new possibilities a camera is much more rugged then a vibrating Laser mechanic, which warranties a long lifecycle. Pending on the application the focus can be short or wide or Auto-Focus. High or Low solution. Handheld barcode and RFID SCANNDY series made for multi purpose CAPTURE IT GLOBAL.
RFID:The SCANNDY family does cover the complete barcode reading range. Beside the barcode reading the SCANNDY family of handheld rfid and barcode also includes all major RFID technologies in the AutoID market on it’s typical PANMOBIL modular way. Most used technologies: RFID - LF (Low Frequency): 124–134 kHz Most used for animal tracking, production control, access control and automotive control. RFID - HF (High Frequency): 13,56 MHZ Most used in Logistics and Labelling. Because of less antenna wiring then LF transponders. Easy to produce and normally used as paper labels. RFID - UHF (Ultra High Frequency) 860/960 MHz Basic usage same as HF labels, but because of different physical communication able to communicate about longer distance and with higher communication speed.
