Since 2008 SCANNDYbasic and SCANNDYgun has been shipped with turbo charger.

The Turbo is called ARM9 with "Linux Inside" and runs  under the designation  SCANNDYbasic II and SCANNDYgun II.

The new hardware and software platform offers  multitasking capability as well as  up to 32 gigabytes of addressable memory.
