Logimat 2015: smart data capturing

Nearly in a month the most important exhibitor and decision maker from industry, commerce and logistics meet up in Stuttgart. The Logimat 2015 as a specialized fair is going to give some important impulses for the modern market. PANMOBIL will be present with its own booth and already knows: the necessary intelligence for all data capturing technologies, which will be applied in the future, in industry, commerce and logistics will originate in cologne. Klaus the “Werker” knows that, because in the beginning of the year he already ordered a SCANNER with brain from PANMOBIL…


Many application fields – ONE intelligent software

No matter if it is healthcare, logistics, maintenance or industry:

Thanks to PANMOBIL EMMware with SCOUTtechnology the employees concentrate mainly on capturing data. The software is a so called embedded Middleware, practically a brain for every barcode and RFID scanner. With this brain you don’t need to think how to transmit your data to a continuative target systems like SAP or Microsoft Dynamics NAV.

Simple system integration

An example out of the praxis: Klaus is director of an logistic central warehouse and ordered several brain scanner with EMMware from PANMOBIL for himself and the employees, so that the goods receipt and the outgoing goods can be transacted faster. The scanner are called smartSCANNDY, and are able to capture 1D/2D barcodes with their camera, the so called imager, and have among other an integrated Wifi connection. Before the first application Klaus connects his scanner via USB with a computer, selects the Smart Universal Configurator and sets up only two things:

1. The Wifi address and the password for the company router 2. The email address of the accounts department, which is located couple of hundred kilometre away in another city

After these two steps he disconnects the scanner from the computer and starts to capture data. smartSCANNDY transmits the captured AutoID data automatically via Wifi out of the device -with its own mailing client- to the accounting department, so that they always know which merchandise are available in the warehouse at any time. It can’t be easier!
